We need counterbalance FLT drivers to work in our busy warehouse. Our forklift drivers are responsible for opening and closing vehicle curtains, loading palletised freight onto vehicles, and unloading it and making sure that all freight is secure.

This job requires a minimum of a valid FLT licence and 12 months’ FLT driving experience. If you’ve done a similar role before, that would be an advantage.

It’s a busy challenging environment, so our drivers are accurate, pay attention to detail and think clearly. There is very little manual loading.

We operate an alternating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings.  The shift pattern is as follows:-

• 5.30 am to 2 pm
• 1.30 pm to 10 pm
• 7 am to 12 pm (Saturday)

The basic hourly rate is £10.50, with a £1 per hour supplement for hours worked past 6 pm on the afternoon shift.  Overtime is available on the afternoon and Saturday shift for which you will be paid an enhanced rate of £12.50.
